We are NOT a typical Paint Your Own Pottery (PYOP) storefront. We have a passion to bring back a love for hand-made and crafting, painting, glazing your own ceramics!

Our classes guide you through the full ceramic journey, starting with how to clean and prep your greenware (that’s unfired pottery!) for its first bisque firing (F1). Then, we dive into the really cool, fun stuff: glazing techniques that turn your piece into a work of art. Whether you're going for stylish, seasonal, or just plain funky, we’ll help you design ceramics that are both beautiful and functional.

Got your own Ceramic/Pottery setup at home but no kiln to finish the job? We’ve got you covered. Our kiln-sharing service lets you bring in your pieces for firing, so you can keep creating without the cost or space of owning your own kiln. It’s perfect for hobbyists, home potters, and anyone who wants to keep their glaze game going. Reach out to us for more details.

Hi, I’m Cliff Logan—the guy behind the glaze! My wife, Kim, & I started Happy Glaze Ceramics, LLC because we believe in the joy of making something with your hands and heart. We'll teach folks how to clean, glaze, and fire bisque ceramics, and we love seeing the smiles when someone finishes their first heirloom Christmas Tree or quirky seasonal bunny. Around here, we celebrate creativity, community, and a little bit of mess.
