Get ready to celebrate Spring with a little creativity! Below you’ll find a few select ceramic pieces we think you're going to Love! This was really tough deciding which pieces to highlight for you, but we finally narrowed it down. There are just so many great items to choose from.
You'll see, just stop in and visit our friends at Pleasant View Ceramics in Yorkanna, PA; or take a look at the Gallery Page of their Shop. Another great shop is The Broome Closet in Columbia, PA. It'll make you want to come and join our classes to complete all these cute projects! We Hope!

Animals & Nature Inspired Decor
Artist: Peggy Schweitzer's Garden Birdhouse
- We've cleaned and prepped the greenware piece, then
- We've bisque fired (F1) your ceramic piece in our kiln
- Use of ANY glazes or acrylic colors, markers, brushes, and various other supplies we'll have available for you
- Final glaze firing (F2) in our kiln (glazed items only)
- Acrylic pieces will be clear sealed and left to dry.
🖌️ Things to bring with you:
- An apron, smock or wear old clothes, you're own tools, brushes, etc. if you have them
- No experience needed—just your creativity and imagination!
- See below for some glaze inspiration and ideas.
- BYOB and snacks to share with others, if you want. We have bottled water available.
Your finished glazed masterpiece will be
ready for pickup in 6–12 DAYS, 🤞 just in time
to bring a touch of handmade charm to your Back Porch or Patio decor! We'll call/text you for a scheduled pick-up/drop-off.

I was able to complete this in one class seating. I used Element glazes (Amber Ash & Night Sky) and white & clear cascade to help aid in the movement of the glazes to give some movement and flowing effect to the piece.
